Party with the Past


I think I’ve found something that qualifies as an “Atlanta thing”! The Atlanta History Center is hosting “Party with the Past” and it sounds amazing. Image 

This month:

Party with the Past will focus on the unique culture and history of Southern food and will be held on the History Center’ s 1840s Smith Family Farm. Charleston-based food writer, photographer, and blogger Brys Stephens will be on hand to discuss his latest book The New Southern Table: Classic Ingredients Revisited. Brys will talk about the importance of food and cooking in Southern culture while museum interpreters prepare recipes from The New Southern Table in the farm kitchen.
