Pickled.

I made pickled onions with this recipe. It’s so easy — it takes maybe 10 minutes, including time to find the jars. Chop, dump, stuff in some cilantro, wait a day, and you’ve got a topping for tacos, soup or salad!

    My mom makes pickled fridge cucumbers much the same way! I think you’d really like her recipe, so now I’ll have to get it from her and post it for you and the world to try.

  2. Do it! We made some a while ago. I went wayyy overboard with the garlic. Whoops! I was going for Claussen-like ones, but I think I should’ve added more dill, not garlic.
